Lumix GX1 Day One

Today I received my new camera in the mail, the Lumix GX1 with Power Zoom. I tossed around for a bit trying to decide wether or not to buy a new camera, we have a couple of nice Canon DSLR's and I did not NEED a new camera. The issue I was having was that although the cameras I have are fantastic I never carried them around because they are just too bulky. A point and shoot would have been more affordable and much more compact but I just didn't want to give up all the control I have with a full DSLR.
My decision on the Lumix GX1 was mostly made up because I have seen what the GX1 and its predecessor the GF1 were capable of. After the first day with this camera I couldn't be more happy. It almost seems that I can't take a bad photograph with this thing.
I will post a more complete review of the camera after I have had some time with it but I had to take the time to gush about this thing day one.
